Morocco Revisited

BestOfMorocco-2

For a second time I was fortunate to work with Rustic Pathways’ Advanced Photo Workshop in Morocco, this time teaching a group of 32 high school students from Hong Kong International School. It was also great reuniting with my Moroccan friends from last summer to lead the trip and get the opportunity to work and teach alongside fellow photographers Jana Ašenbrennerová and Justin Konder.

Being a photographer is mostly a solitary job, so the chance to see other professionals chasing the same light, the same moments and working in the same environment was a great learning experience. There were several funny moments where we found ourselves hustling toward a subject or clustered together with our motor drives firing away in a chorus of clicks.

This was also my first time working with students from an international school. The diversity of student backgrounds made for an excellent learning environment as they each brought something different to the table.

Here are my favorites from the nine-day workshop: BestOfMorocco-7
