The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Forget Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year is fall.

And I’ve decided there is nowhere better for fall than Wisconsin. Driving to assignments I can barely keep my eyes on the road with the beautiful scenery surrounding me.

Covering a cross country meet yesterday evening felt like the photo-planets had aligned just for me: clear blue skies, fiery fall leaves, warm sunshine and low 60s temperatures. I wish I hadn’t been on deadline, I would have stuck around for at least another hour just shooting. It was that good.

Here are some of my favorites from the meet.

I’ll be shooting the Packers vs. Saints game this Sunday, so keep an eye on the gameday gallery on the Press Gazette’s website for some of my photos.
